Mazus is a semi-evergreen groundcover. Its light purple blooms resemble those of a violet.
Blooms appear primarilly in spring but we have noticed, in our garden, sporadic blooms throughout the seasons.
This plant has a quick to moderate growth rate and has a height of 1 to 2 inches.

A Mazus cultivar, "Albus", has white blooms.
